Lake Glenville is a scenic and recreational gem located in Glenville, North Carolina. As the highest lake east of the Mississippi River, it sits at an elevation of 3,494 feet and boasts a surface area of 1,462 acres. The lake offers 26 miles of pristine shoreline, making it a popular destination for boating, paddling, tubing, skiing, swimming, and fishing. The surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains provide a stunning backdrop for the lake, as well as beautiful sunsets.

Lake Glenville is located in Jackson County, just eight miles from the historic resort village of Cashiers. Three waterfalls feed into the lake: Hurricane, Mill Creek, and Norton. Below the dam, High Falls becomes a popular spot for thrill-seeking kayakers when water is released.
