It's not work. It's a personal lifestyle. Kristie's love of people, the mountains, and homes created the perfect environment for fostering her career in real estate.
Kristie was born in a singlewide trailer on the Alafia River in Florida. Determined to be a life achiever, she joined the Navy and became a jet fighter Mechanic. If you're familiar with the Navy, she's a certified "Shellback" who served two tours on the USS Abraham Lincoln, could lug her 70-pound toolbox up a ladder to the fuel deck to work on jet ejection seats and HVAC systems.
Her travels worldwide on an aircraft carrier continued when she transitioned to civilian life. She married Jack Brennan, a local to the Appalachian mountains, and they traveled for work through Florida, Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina. Kristie was heavily involved in operations and meetings for the companies her husband operated, as well as working in communications, landscaping, and real estate.
In 2019, Kristie took her husband's retirement as an opportunity to use her interpersonal skills and business acumen to enter the North Carolina real estate industry. She partnered with Rashaune De La Cruz in the creation of Vignette Realty.
Kristie is focused on creating an environment where the best possible outcomes for her clients are achieved. Understanding people's wants and needs, combined with a thorough understanding of the North Carolina market, has allowed her to find the perfect property for hundreds of “new friends.” She calls it matchmaking.
Western North Carolina provides an incredible atmosphere to accomplish everything Kristie loves—hiking, camping, and organic farming, and she is an incredible cook—hosting dinner parties for friends and family.
