Jack, aka Chief, Cook and Bottle Washer, grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. A magnet on his refrigerator, given by his mother over 40 years ago, defines his life. The quote, "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to rather skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting holy shit what a ride," encapsulates Jack's adventurous spirit and his belief in living life to the fullest.
A true entrepreneur, Jack has owned and operated a diverse range of businesses, from restaurants to financial service companies and automotive companies nationwide. His expertise in marketing, advertising, reinsurance companies, and operations has given him the skill set to turn companies around quickly and dramatically improve profitability. His versatility is truly impressive.
His first step into corporate life was Jim Moran and Associates, a subsidiary of J.M. Family Enterprises. He later founded A.S.P. Automotive, which he sold to Trans-Capital Fiscal Systems in New Jersey. He assumed the position of senior vice president of Trans-Capital.
Years later, Jack re-entered the retail automotive industry and operated and partnered with some of the largest automotive companies in the industry, participating in numerous corporate buy-sells, managing multi-million-dollar marketing and advertising budgets, and forming and managing multiple reinsurance companies.
Jack's personal life is as rich and diverse as his professional journey. He married Kristie Brennan in 2010, and they have two wonderful but headstrong children. One is John, a business owner and blacksmith in Lexington, Kentucky, and the other is Brooke, a senior production manager for a national advertising company in New York City.
Six years ago, Jack retired to the mountains, a lifelong goal. He has been working on his land and participating in critical charitable organizations. His wife Kristie and Rashaune, a close family friend, founded Vignette Realty, which has grown approximately 25% yearly since its inception. Due to the dramatic growth, Kristie and Rashaune, who have been instrumental in the company's success, asked him to re-enter the business world and manage operations in his favorite position, Chief, Cook and Bottle Washer.
